Public Hearing to consider Adoption of Budget for the year 2011

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Commissioners of the Oyster Bay Water District will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. at the Oyster Bay Water District office, 45 Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay, New York. The purpose of the hearing is to consider an estimate of proposed expenditures and revenues for the year beginning January 1, 2011. A copy of the budget is available for public inspection between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., Mondays thru Fridays at the Water District office located at 45 Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay, New York.

Notice is hereby given that the fiscal affairs of the Oyster Bay Water District for the period beginning on January 1, 2009 and ending on December 31, 2009 have been examined by Albrecht, Viggiano, Zureck & Company, P.C., Certified Public Accountants, and that the annual Independent Auditor’s Report and Audited Financial Statements prepared in conjunction with such external audit have been filed in the District’s office where they are available as a public record for inspection by all interested persons. The information is also available on the District’s website, www.oysterbaywaterdistrict.org. Pursuant to section thirty-five of the General Municipal Law, the Board of Commissioners of the Oyster Bay Water District may in its discretion prepare a written response to the report of external audit and file any such response in the District Office as a public record for inspection by all interested persons not later than

August 9, 2010.
